Evolution Mixed Martial Arts. Empowering people, one person at a time

EVOLUTION MARTIAL ARTS SYSTEM  - WHAT SETS US APART?

The Evolution Martial Arts curriculum is a complete approach to martial arts training.  Traditional techniques normally do not work in "real world" self-defense situations.  Let's face it, the main reason someone begins martial arts is to be able to defend themselves, and not walk around with a false sense of security.  No one single martial art is enough to fully protect yourself.  You need a mixture of effective traditional disciplines which incorporate stand up, take down, and ground curriculum.  Mastering the different techniques creates a complete and competent martial artist.  Mr. Chun has black belts in these effective disciplines and has studied their non-traditional counterparts as well.  Unfortunately, if you go and learn all these arts separately it will take many years and you will have many “battle scars” in taking such an endeavor.   At EMA, the curriculum involves all of the aforementioned styles of martial arts.  Mr. Chun has created an adult and kid program teaching the same fundamentals.  Since no one wants to get injured, EMA fosters a safe environment where the motto is “train hard, with technique, but no one hurts each other”.  This is the formula we have used at other schools to develop proven motor skills that create competent martial artists.  Mr. Chun has taken all of his years of experience and sparring, and has created his own Martial Art Forms (Katas).  These forms are more reality based, unlike some traditional martial arts where the forms do not reinforce competent motor skills used in actual self-defense situations.  EMA’s forms and combat components complement each other, reducing the learning curve by combining the similarity of the form and combat portion of Evolution Martial Arts.  We guarantee training one year in the Evolution Martial Art system will be comparable to 4 years of training in any one traditional martial arts discipline.  Students will not only feel competent in their skills, but their mind and bodies will be transformed as well.
